Hello and thanks for visiting my blog.
My name is Arman and I am a biostatistics PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania. For the most part, my research centers around developing Bayesian non-parametric and machine learning methods for causal inference.
Before Penn, I was a senior analyst in Analysis Group’s health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) practice. My undergraduate education is in quantitative economics and mathematics.
I blog about data science and visualization, statistics, and other things that happen to interest me. I occasionally write reviews of interesting articles and papers I come across.
I enjoy keeping a blog because it helps track my interests over time. When I started this blog in college, I was primarily interested in economics – hence “Stable Markets.” Over time, my interests moved from economics to econometrics before converging to statistics.
